Isla Mayer awarded her first professional contract
Isla was cast as Randy in A Christmas Story, The Musical at Fireside Dinner Theatre. Since 1964, the Fireside in Fort Atkinson, WI has been a premiere performance venue for the Midwest featuring professional Broadway performers, fine dining, and unique boutique shopping experiences all in one place.

Our next JAM performance is our 4th annual Halloween Song Slam on Saturday, October 24 at 10am right here at Olde Towne Mall. This beloved event takes place during the downtown trick-or-treat event that brings hundreds of community members to our building. Perform something spooky, scary or haunting. Costumes encouraged!
a note from our founder
During COVID, I took a chance and accepted my first job teaching voice at Beloit College. Up until that point, I was exclusively interested in performing. But that decision was the spark that changed the trajectory of my life.
I found that I loved teaching just as much as performing. Working together with someone to achieve a goal, having a front row seat to the transformation of a singer, and watching them succeed felt just as good as experiencing my own successes.
It wasn't long before I began teaching virtual lessons from my home basement while my toddler napped. It's hard to believe that toddler is almost 9 years old and along with my growing child, this community has grown exponentially. That team of one grew into a faculty of seven!
To every student who has walked through our doors, past and present, thank you for trusting me and my team to guide your musical journeys. To my friends and family who have supported me through every evolution of JAM, thank you for encouraging me to keep going and seeing the value in what I was trying to build.
Whether you were my student for one lesson or five years, I am genuinely always cheering for you, friend. Thank you for the most rewarding five years of my career.

no lessons Sept 5-7
In observation of Labor Day weekend, we will be closed Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7. We will open again for lessons on Tuesday, September 8.
As a reminder, JAM follows holiday breaks and weather closures in concordance with the Janesville School District. All breaks are accounted for in your annual tuition.
